Robert B. Lorenzo Robert B. Lorenzo has over 20 years of Private Equity and Investment Banking experience. Before joining Eden Roc Capital, Mr. Lorenzo ran global private equity advisory groups at UBS and Salomon Brothers representing clients on M&A and Corporate Finance transactions in the public and private sectors. His deal making experience spans a variety of industries and continents, with transaction sizes ranging from $25 million to $15 billion+. Prior to this, Mr. Lorenzo held senior positions at Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers and Chase Manhattan Bank - both in New York and Europe. With expertise in closely advising Corporations, Institutions, Private Equity (Financial Sponsors) and Hedge Funds Mr. Lorenzo’s experience spans a wide variety of industries including Banking, Financial Institutions, Real Estate, Hospitality, Media & Telecom, Metals & Mining and General Industrials. Leveraging his years of industry expertise, Mr. Lorenzo has extensive personal and professional contacts in Private Equity, Investment Banking and Government. Mr. Lorenzo’s significant and deep experience and expertise in real estate and property investments and date back to 2005 with the acquisition of Hilton International (U.K.) by Hilton Hotels Corp. At Eden Roc Capital, he has been involved in numerous types of real estate related transactions in the US and Europe. Many of the real estate deals were in conjunction with company consolidations, asset monetization and synergistic investment opportunities arising out of global business conditions and opportunities. Prior to business school, Mr. Lorenzo was a portfolio manager structuring Savings & Loan investments at the Private Equity firm of William E. Simon & Sons. He worked very closely with numerous government and quasi-government agencies, including the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC). He began his career as a Manager in the public accounting firm of Arthur Young & Company. Mr. Lorenzo graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University‘s Samuel Silberman School of Business, and earned his MBA in Finance & International Business from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
