Paul has been in the investment field since 1986, starting as an independent RIA before moving to National City and Bank One. At those banks, he was a lead portfolio manager in charge of portfolio managers of various regions of the Bank’s footprint. While at Bank One, Paul not only was responsible for the private client group in Texas and Oklahoma but also worked with the research group in putting together the investment models used by the entire bank.
After leaving Bank One, Paul returned to the RIA business and began working with various boutique investment firms, most recently Kingsview Asset Management in Chicago. As Sr. VP and member of their investment committee, he is responsible for both proprietary investment products within the firm and reviews investments for their advisory staff.
He is a frequent contributor to Bloomberg, WBBM & WGN radio stations as well as quoted in the Chicago Tribune, Barron’s, Reuters, Marketwatch, or TheStreet.com.
The discussion will be centered on the “brave new world” of fixed income investing, where Central Banks now have their fingers in the cookie jar and monetary policy seems to have expanded beyond the typical mandates of full employment and stable inflation.
