Our world continues to experience vast economic turmoil in the hospitality and tourism industry. From ignorance to adaptation, we are still in the middle of so many questions and rapidly materializing solutions. The responsiveness and support that the hospitality industry has both given and received are an amazing testament to the resilience of an industry which is a backbone of our economy.
The longer range problems are fueled without solution in sight today based in a steep decline in Average Daily Rates (ADR), length of stay (LOS) and Occupancy (OCC) revenue indicators for many hotel properties. These properties are in a limbo of when next steps will occur. They need a plan for tomorrow, of being restructured, sold or refinanced with new vision and strategies.

Nathan Whigham is the Founder and President of EN Capital. He has been placing debt and equity across all types of commercial real estate since 2006 and has been involved in the origination of over $1B of commercial real estate finance. Prior to founding EN Capital he was the Senior Director of Business Development for CleanFund Commercial PACE Capital for Southern California. Before his tenure as a commercial PACE lender he was Senior Vice President & Director of Business Development at Nebo Capital, a boutique commercial real estate capital advisory firm. Nathan has also developed over six megawatts of large commercial renewable energy projects and has been involved in a variety of entrepreneurial ventures. He holds an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Arizona and is a licensed California Real Estate Broker.
